Adi Granth

According to Wikipedia, the "central religious scripture" of Sikhism is the Guru Granth Sahib, whose "first rendition" (completed in 1604 by the fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan) is known as the Adi Granth. Guru Gobind Singh (1666–1708), the tenth Sikh Guru, added the 115 hymns of Guru Tegh Bahadur, his predecessor and the ninth Sikh Guru, to the Adi Granth and affirmed the text as his successor. This second rendition became known as Guru Granth Sahib.
